Clement Trophy Qualifier 21st April

24 girls played in this competition at South Shields. The weather was cold and windy but in spite of this there were some very good scores.

The winner of the competition was Katie Atkinson (Darlington Golf Club) nett 68

Close House Lee Westwood Scholarship

Congratulations to Kitana Hollins (Ramside Golf Club) who has just won the Close House Lee Westwood Scholarship and to Shannon O’Dwyer (Hartlepool Golf Club) who came second.
All girls (aged 12-16 year olds) were first assessed on the weekend of 16th & 17th March 2013

5 Juniors invited to attend England Golf Training Squads 2012/13

Congratulations to 5  Durham junior girls who have successfully gained places on the  England Golf Training 2012-2013

5 Durham Girls applied for Golf England’s application and skills testing process. This took place on 7th October 2012 at Sandburn Hall.

Halloween Fun Competition

This is the last competition for the juniors this year. It will be held at Heworth Golf Club on 31st October. It is open to all girls and you do not need a handicap to enter this competition.

We have been very lucky with the weather which has stayed warm and dry for our last competitions held at South Moor and Bishop Auckland Golf Clubs.

Northern Girls’ Championship at Bromborough GC

Torrential rainfall in the afternoon reduced the Northern Girls’ Championship at Bromborough GC to one round. The competition is divided into 3 age groups and prizes and trophies are awarded in each of these groups.

Girls can only be awarded one prize.
