10 year old Amy Burton from Wynyard Golf Club won the golfer of the year trophy this year. She had a great season. She won the George Crawford Trophy and the Appleby Bowl.

She won 3 NJGT events and was chosen for the Durham Team to play in the Grand Final where she won girls’ best nett and best gross. She won the Mini Storm Championship. She qualified for the Mitzuno Order of Merit Final.

She won the Wee Wonders Final and qualified for the Grand Final (Great Britain and Ireland) in Scotland. At the Northern Counties Jamboree she scored 43 points in the Stableford Competition and won her Matchplay 7 and 5 and was runner-up in the overall competition.
