It is with great sadness that we let you know that we have been made aware that Pam Twinn (nee Dinning) has died. Pam joined Ryton as a junior with her mother, father and younger brother Guy; often accessing the then 9 hole course by crossing over the railway line rather than using the longer way round by road! Her first successes in club competitions came in 1956 (winning the Calcutta Cup and Jubilee Vase), during which year she also won the Durham County Greener Cup and Coronation Medal,...
