Autumn Team

Despite a less-than-promising forecast, the light rain had cleared by 11am and the sun made an appearance for the rest of the day. Some excellent golf was played on a course that was in superb condition.

Congratulations to our winners, who scored a magnificent 82 points:

Pam Johnson, Kathryn Turnbull, Linda Redman (Chester-le-Street) and Dawn Harrison (South Moor) — with Pam and Dawn pictured.

Second place went to Renee Laybourne, Suzanne Welsh, Norma Askew and Joyce Jeary, all from Chester-le-Street, who finished just one point behind the winners. Home advantage counts! 😉

Third place went to Linda Coull, Beverley Walker, Mary Shepherd and Lesley Harrison from Eaglescliffe.

A huge thank you to Chester-le-Street Golf Club for hosting the competition and presenting the course in such excellent condition.

We would also like to thank all the volunteers who give their time at every competition. Without their help and support, these events simply wouldn't be possible.
