Northern Counties Junior Jamboree 2026 took place at Scarcroft Golf Club, Leeds on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th August 2026 with day one being singles stableford and day two Foursomes Matchplay. The event consisted of a team of six girls from each county: Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland and Yorkshire with a handicap index limit of 15 to 40. Durham Girls took on Yorkshire at Saltburn Golf Club on Thursday 23 July 2026. In perfect sunny conditions both teams played some exceptional golf with Durham claiming a hard fought 4 – 4 draw. The close nature of the match was personified with three games being decided on the eighteenth hole. Durham County Junior Girls held their annual Christmas Florida Scramble on Monday 29 December 2025 at Wearside Golf Club. Despite damp and chilly conditions, the girls took part in a 9-hole Florida Scramble and played some excellent golf.
