May Lowery Final

Updated: Aug 21

We finally managed to play the 2019 May Lowery Final (combined with the 2021 one) at South Moor today. The glorious weather made for some very good scoring with Emily Baxter of Houghton-le-Spring recording both the best gross (75) and best net (71) scores. However, the rules of the competition means that she could only win one prize so goes away with the May Lowery Trophy with Margaret Nisbet of Castle Eden taking the best gross trophy. Nikki Dodds of Ravensworth won the 2nd net prize (because Margaret couldn't win two prizes either) - complicated isn't it!

Many congratulations to Sarah Hirst who holed out for a 2 on the par 4 17th from 130 yards - what a great eagle.

The results can be found here.
