Woodham Golf Club receive Club of the Year Award

At the League Workshop held yesterday at the Durham Indoor Bowling Club, the mistake made at the AGM was rectified and Woodham were awarded "DCLGA Club of the Year".

Sue Lowe (Immediate Past Captain of Woodham Ladies Section) accepted the trophy from DCLGA president Di Elsy.

Many thanks to all the clubs who attended the workshop . It was very interesting to hear the views of different ladies sections. The officers of the DCLGA committee will meet on Monday to discuss what what said and try to come up with some new arrangements for the leagues. These proposals will then be presented to the next full committee for amendment/ratification. It is hoped that updates to the rules will be sent to the clubs in June.
