AGM Update

Well done to all those who braved the elements to attend the 2021 AGM of the Durham County Ladies Golf Association. This year we combined the AGM with the Captain's and Secretary's meeting and the Swap Shop.

Refreshments were provided after the formal business of the AGM with cakes made by the committee and donations requested for the County Captain's Charity for 2021. A magnificent sum of £151 was collected meaning that a grand total of £3203.77 has been raised for Harbour Support Services (a domestic abuse charity based in Hartlepool) during the year. DCLGA Captain Chris Pascall announced that her chosen charity for 2022 would be Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Juniors also collected money for their funds and another £150 was raised.

Initial feedback regarding the location and format of the event was positive and committee will discuss how we proceed in future years. If you have any comments that you wish to feed into the debate then please let a committee member know, or contact to the secretary (secretary@durhamladiesgolf.org.uk) , or use the feedback section of the website.

Many thanks to everyone who attended and gave so generously.
