The weather wasn't great when we arrived at George Washington golf course, but true to the forecast it brightened up and it was actually quite hot by the end of the day. This was matched by the golf of the first three teams who were all under par for their rounds.
Many congratulations to the "Tyneside Tigers" and their team captain from Houghton-le-Spring who beat the home team by just one point. A further point behind were the team from Chester-le-Street.
