Ballingall Shield

The annual Ballingall Shield match between Durham and Northumberland took place at Ryton Golf club yesterday. It was a lovely sunny day, very still, great conditions for golf. The format was 4BBB matchplay.

Durham was represented by the team of Lucy Ashworth, Brittany Hill, Millie Hixon, Jess Dorritt, Izzy Stokes, Caylin Millions, Scarlette Richardson and Lesley Verry.

Unfortunately Durham lost the match 3-1. Many congratulations to Northumberland (hopefully we will be able to get our revenge next year!). Many thanks to the teams and everyone else involved in organising the event and Ryton Golf club for hosting it.
