Charity Competition

Many thanks to everyone who took part in the DCLGA Charity Competition yesterday in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance service, a grand total of £438.22 was raised for this very worthy cause.

As usual with a Texas Scramble, there were some tremendous scores with the team from Ingleby Barwick winning with a net 55, with teams from Teesside and Blackwell Grange coming 2nd and 3rd with net 57's.

The very smartly dressed team from Chester-le-Street won the gross prize with a magnificent 70.

Many congratulations to Louise Fryer of Eaglescliffe golf club had a hole in one on the third.
