CMW Day 1 - Durham v Cheshire

A very exciting morning foursomes session saw a convincing 7&6 win for Durham in the third game and a loss in the first game 3&2.

It was all to play for in the last game as it was all square going down the 18th. Neither teams second shots made the green but Cheshire seemed to have the upper hand until they missed a fairly shot putt for the game and the morning session ended all square.

Durham seemed to fall away in the singles games in the afternoon only managing one win. So a disappointing end to the first day with a loss to Cheshire 6.5 - 2.5.
