The qualifying round of the DCLGA Championship was held at Bishop Auckland Golf Club today along with the quarter finals of the knockout . Some excellent golf was played with Darlington winning the nett shield
and Helen Robson of Darlington Golf Club wining the Silver Coronation Medal for the best nett score with a magnificent 68.
Emily Baxter got a hole in one at the 5th in her match against Faye Wheatley (who responded with an eagle at the 9th).
Jess Hall had the best gross qualifying round with a great score of 68. The full results of the qualifying round can be found here.
