Durham Second in Junior Jamboree

Northern Counties Junior Jamboree 2026 took place at Scarcroft Golf Club, Leeds on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th August 2026 with day one being singles stableford and day two Foursomes Matchplay.

The event consisted of a team of six girls from each county: Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland and Yorkshire with a handicap index limit of 15 to 40.

The Durham team

Jessica Hood – Billingham GC
Olivia Livingstone – Houghton le Spring GC
Thalia Crabtree – Ramside GC
Romilly Crabtree - Ramside GC

On a showery first day the Durham team played exceptionally well with Romilly Crabtree scoring 41 points for fourth place, missing out on second and third place on countback. Daisy Allom came in with 38 points for ninth place.

Once all the results were in Durham were in joint third place with 29 points with Cumbria leading with 37 and Yorkshire in second with 31 points.

During the evening of day one all the counties paired their player in readiness for Foursomes Matchplay on day two. Durham secured a win, a draw and a loss. Esme and Romilly won their match with Olivia and Thalia securing a hard-fought draw. Daisy and Jessica were unfortunate to lose on the last hole.

Once all the results were in Durham had moved up to second place with 53 points with Cumbria winning with 63 points.
