Inter-County Challenge

Many thanks to Northumberland for organising this year's Inter-County Challenge at Ponteland Golf Club.

Six pairs from Durham played with ladies from Northumberland in a stableford better ball format. The stableford points scored by each county was totalled up with Durham coming out the winners of the Dunn/Mair trophy 232 points to 221.

Special congratulations go to Sally Connor of Blackwell Grange and Sarah Halpin of Headlam Hall who had the best score on the day with 42 points. They are obviously a formidable team as they also won the qualifying round at Blackwell in May.
