Sheila Dunn April 16th 1936 – July 28th 2026

We are very sad to report that Sheila died this morning in hospital in Bishop Auckland.

She was a long-serving and very loyal member of the Captains’ Society for thirty years. A member of Garesfield Golf Club, Sheila was a former Captain and President of the Society, who, until very recently, still attended Committee Meetings and helped out at matches and competitions. For many years, Sheila also served as Secretary of the Seniors and she was a Past President of the DCSLGA.

Our thoughts are with her husband, Geoff, and sons, David and Michael, at this very difficult time. Sheila will be greatly missed.

Sheila's funeral is on Tuesday 18th August 1pm at St James's Church Burnopefield and afterwards at Hobson golf club.
