The Vine Trophy was as popular as every this year with a large field making it a very long day. It was lovely to see so many people taking part in the glorious weather (that was order especially for the occasion!).
Local knowledge was certainly a help with 4 of the top ten teams from Durham City. The course was in lovely condition and as normal we were made to feel very welcome.
The team of Sue Brady, Irene Harries and Ariane Swart won with a great score of 91 points just beating another Durham City team into second place with 90 points.
A team from Ravensworth were one point behind them, with 4th place going to a team from Eaglescliffe with 88 points.
