We are very excited to have our first County Junior Competition of the year on Saturday 15th August at Houghton le Spring Golf Club. The competition is the Appleby Bowl. There are trophies for the Strokeplay competition which is for girls with with a handicap of 20 and below and also the Stableford competition for those with a handicap of 21 and above. The draw for the competition will be on the website a week before the event. The competition will be run with strict procedures in place to ensure the safety of all of the competitors and officials. The competitors will receive details of these prior to the competition.
I am delighted to announce that we will also be running the Junior County Championship on 25th October at Tyneside. Details of this competition will be announced closer to the time
