The first Junior Competition of the season, the Appleby Bowl, was held on on Saturday 10th April at South Shields. It was lovely to see so many young players taking part and enjoying their golf.
Well done to Lucy Nimmo of Chester le Street with the best nett of 70.
Other scores 2nd Nett was Emily Baxter, Houghton le Spring. Best Gross Faye Wheatley, Whickham with 76.
In Division 2 the winner was Alice Atkinson, Durham City with 39 points.
Well done girls, we saw some brilliant golf.
