Captain's Society AGM

Thank you very much to all those members who attended the Lady Captains’ Society AGM at Birtley Golf Club on Saturday, October 26th (and to those ladies who were kind enough to submit their apologies).

We were delighted to announce that the Society is able to continue during 2025, thanks to the loyalty of our members who supported competitions and attended the Luncheon and Coffee Morning.

Our new President, Mrs Marion Griffiths, of Seaton Carew Golf Club was welcomed into office. Marion, a member of the Society for more than twenty years, has been a loyal supporter throughout and she has served as Committee Member, Captain and Secretary.

Following the AGM, the Captain, Mrs Ann Corbett, and Past President, Mrs Sheila Dunn, presented trophies won during 2024.

Our thanks must go to all those clubs who hosted our competitions, and, of course, to Birtley, our AGM venue for many years.

Best wishes for the festive season and we look forward to seeing you all in 2025.
