CMW Day 5 - Durham v Yorkshire

A tough morning foursomes saw the Durham team lose all 3 matches, but two of them went to the 17th green.

Despite some sterling work and great golf it was a difficult afternoon for the Durham team. They lost the session 1.5 - 4.5.

We always knew that the final match was going to be the hardest of the week. The players fought very hard throughout, but were beaten by the better team on the day.

Overall Durham finished in 4th place - the results matrix can be found here. Some of the games turned on the smallest of margins and if things had gone the other way in just a couple of them Durham could quite easily have finished 2nd. Still, there's always next year......
