Millie Hixon retains her Junior Championship title

The 36-hole Championship and 18-hole stableford competition took place at Roseberry Grange Community Golf Club in conjunction with the Durham Golf Union Boys Championships. All the players had to endure some very challenging conditions.

Champion: Millie Hixon (Wearside GC) – 78 – 75 = 153

Runner-Up: Caylin Million (Chester le Street GC) 84 – 78 = 162

Third: Izzy Stokes (Eaglescliffe GC) 83 – 79 = 162

Best Nett: Sorcha Bond (Eaglescliffe GC) 69 – 67 = 136

18-Hole Stableford

Winner: Romilly Crabtree (Ramside GC) – 38

Runner Up: Willow Hixon (Wearside GC) – 37 (BB9 - 21 v 18)

Third: Olivia Livingstone (Houghton le Spring GC) – 37

The successful day could not have happened without the hard work of many which include all at Roseberry Grange Community Club, all from Durham County Golf Union the course scorers / walkers Wendy Mabbott, Ann Bowen and Valda Grant all the players and their families and supporters.
