Durham Girl. Thank you for having me, that goes for all of us from Durham, young and old (older).
Team Durham passed on their thanks to Ashley Kent, County Junior Organiser (Northumberland) as the girls had a wonderful time and it was a great experience for them from them being very nervous to relaxed and enjoying, which was a pleasure to see.
A big thank you goes to all the walkers, caterers and the beautifully set up dining room with lovely flowers to match each county. Congratulations to Lancashire and well done all the other teams, a great experience.
My first experience of the Jamboree and what an immense pleasure I witnessed wonderful young female talent balanced with super etiquette and manners. However, credit to the organisers, the staff at Gosforth, the County Junior Organisers and plethora of other adult helpers who facilitated the event. Thanks to all, just amazing.
Lastly a big thank you goes to Wendy Mabbott, Chris Mair and Ann Bowen who looked after the girls throughout the event. Also, to all those who came along to support Team Durham over the two days
