Junior Presentation Evening 2025

DCLGA Junior Girls Presentation Night was held at Houghton le Spring Golf Club on Friday 28 November 2025. It was a brilliant night celebrating the junior girls receiving their trophies.

Everything to do with the junior county could not happen without all the many hands working extremely hard behind the scenes.

• This years’ coaching programme has gone from strength to strength with the current coaching programme now having 29 girls attending 5 different venues. Thanks go to the coaching coordinator Chris Pascall and the enthusiasm and dedication of all the county coaches.

• All the clubs and individuals who have made donations to the juniors.

• Caylin Million for being an excellent Junior Captain, I do hope she has enjoyed her year and wish Emily Holgate all the best in 2026.

• All the parents and family members who have supported the girls throughout the year as without you all they would not be able to pursue their golf.

• To all the girls who have played in competitions and matches and wish you all every success in 2026.

• A thank you to all at Houghton le Spring Golf Club for their hospitality and the excellent food served by their resident caterer Mulligans.

• Lastly a raffle was also held and a fantastic £146.00 was raised which will go to the county girl’s junior funds. A massive thank you to all who donated prizes and bought tickets.
