Juniors Greensomes Stableford Competition

The 18-hole Greensomes stableford competition took place at Houghton le Spring Golf Club with all the players enduring some extremely windy conditions. Despite this the girls produced some excellent golf and scores

Runner Up: Millie Hixon and Willow Hixon (Wearside GC) - 43

Third: Romilly Crabtree and Thalia Crabtree (Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf) - 41

Fourth: Theresa Anderson and Morgan Bailey (South Moor GC) – 41

Interesting statistics for the day, 18 players from 11 different clubs, 2 of the pairs were siblings and handicaps ranging from 0.9 to 52.

The successful day could not have happened without the hard work of many which include all at Houghton le Spring Golf Club, the course scorers / walkers Lesley Still, Marian Goodyear and Chris Mair all the players and their families and supporters.
