The Scout Cups meeting was held at Boldon golf course this year and the weather could not have been kinder. Personally I found the greens rather tricky but the winners obviously did not have the same problem as me!
The team of Dawn Harrison and Lesley Brown from South Moor won the Scout Cups with 39 points, a team from Longhirst came second with 38 points with third place going to another team from South Moor who beat a Northumberland Exec team over the back 9 on 37 points.
There was a very close match between the Exec teams of Northumberland and Durham who play for the Pyman Skoot as part of the Scout Cups meeting. Unfortunately (for Durham) we got 97 points to Northumberland's 99, so the trophy is heading back across the Tyne.
